Every original on the website is reproduced as a signed open edition framed A3 (approx) paper print. The paper prints are produced to an exceptional standard using lightfast ink and the highest quality Photo paper. Each piece is hand signed and hung in a complimentary frame.
Bespoke Limited edition hand embellished canvas giclee prints
The bespoke limited editions truly are as stated in the title "bespoke". Limited to 78 pieces per original, each piece is hand embellished creating a subtle but unique original.
The giclee print is produced on stretched high quality cotton canvas before it is hand embellished and then finally lacquered.
The bespoke range is available through a small selection of independent galleries's that represent Robinson Ford.
Originals
I tend to work a little differently from most artists when it comes to how I create originals.
I focus on a body of work rather than individual pieces. Only when a group of paintings are starting to collectively take shape conceptually! will I release the paintings from the collection. Because of this favoured way of working I rarely release new art more than once or twice a year.
As much as much as I'd hope that the narrative driving my work is modern and reflective, my techniques are rigidly traditional , brush, oil/ Acrylic and canvas.
The scale is medium to large with the average canvas unframed measuring 30 by 40 inches.
Individual paintings nearly always take upwards of a hundred hours often doubling or tippling that set time budget!!
